Hello dear listeners,
We are back (again)! Life was a little intense earlier this year. Karina had two types of flu that took her out for a total of six weeks all together, which was less than great. And as noted at the start of the episode, this is a rerecording, so there was even more delay in getting it out to you.
Let’s get to it! Oh, spoilers for Wandee Goodday!
For the Extended Top 5 today, Charelle talks about a story-based game called Tell Me Why. It sounds really interesting (even though Karina is not a gamer, she can appreciate it sounds fun).
Karina shares about the Thai show Monster Next Door, a beautiful, heartwarming story about two university students who fall in love. Diew is an introvert in his first year and finds himself living next door to God, a third year student who is the complete opposite-an extrovert. The story is character driven, exploring how two very different people get to know each other and understand each other as they fall in love. Karina has had the pleasure of listening to Earnie Jantawong, producer and screenwriter on MND, on his lives on Tik Tok, where he speaks in English to international viewers who love the show.
Charelle is currently enjoying watching Us a Thai GL (Girl’s Love), starring Emi Thasorn Klinnium and Bonnie Pattraphus Borattasuwan.
Karina went to see Ateez in concert in Amsterdam. It was her first kpop concert and it was SO FUN.
Wandee watching is ongoing and Charelle is loving it, which makes Karina very happy. This show is so sex positive, openly talking about sex health and showing healthy communication and that sex is FUN. It’s also the first Thai (and probably S E Asian) show to have an asexual character, Wandee’s bestie, Kao. He is a sex therapist and is played by Drake Sattabut Laedeke, who really excels in this role. Charelle is obsessed with the antagonist, Dr Ter (Karina nicknamed him Dr Terrible) who they love to hate.

Hope you enjoyed this episode and thanks for listening!
